Football: Prestatyn under 15s fight back to net title

PRESTATYN Under 15s are chasing a treble after adding the North Wales Girls Football League title to the Tesco Cup.

They are also in the North Wales Girls Cup Final against the winners of the semi-final between Northop Hall and Denbigh Diamonds.

Prestatyn wrapped up their league success with a dramatic late 3-1 victory at Flint Town.

The hosts, needing a win to force a play-off, took the lead midway through the first half and looked to be holding on until Alice Loftus lashed the ball into the net for a deserved equaliser with three minutes to go.

Deanah Tostevin scored a superb goal after beating two defenders and Kerry Harrison completed the scoring.
