LLANDYRNOG UNITED 1LLANDUDNO 3
CYMRU ALLIANCE LEAGUE
THINGS looked promising at half time when Llandyrnog held a 1-0 lead and were on course for a first league win, but a strong Llandudno outfit turned the tables after the break.
The Seasiders came to Cae Nant with a good record, sixth in the league, but up to the 50th minute they could have been more than a single goal behind.
Sion T Roberts had put Dyrny in front with a good goal scored from a tight angle just before the half hour, but within five minutes of the second period resumption Tudno had equalised when slack marking in the box let in Chris Boulton for his first goal.
Even though the home side threatened to score again, it was the visitors who added two more through danger man Boulton before the end.
DENBIGH TOWN 4MOLD ALEXANDRA 4
AFTER leading 3-1 at the interval Denbigh seemed booked for the points, but a second half fightback from Mold left the hosts happy to salvage a draw.
Goals from Ian Evans, Mark Orme and Stuart Vernon put Town in command at the changeover, Mark Roberts responding with a penalty.
It was a different Mold after the interval, though, Darren Pritchard, Dave Pitson and Roberts (pen) putting them 4-3 up before Dave Edwards bagged an 87th minute facesaver for Tim Dyer’s men.
