Football: Rhyl Hearts Ravens produce great victory

CHLOE Rawlinson and Emily Jones netted four goals apiece as Rhyl Hearts Ravens romped to an 8-1 success over Prestatyn in the North Wales Girls Football League’s Under-Nine section, Candice Nellist replying for the outgunned visitors.

Kinmel Bay were even bigger winners at Mold, hammering the opposition 9-1 with Georgie Fay, Ellisha Sandiford, Catrin Price, Lucy Sass-Davies and Niamh Mainstone sharing the goals.

In the Under-11 section, Kinmel Bay overcame Prestatyn 3-0 thanks to Ashley Mills, Millie Gilbertson and Chloe Brownsell.

There was better luck for Prestatyn in the Under-13s division, Rebecca McKeown securing them a 1-0 triumph at Kinmel Bay Eagles.
