GUILSFIELD 3 DENBIGH TOWN 1
CYMRU ALLIANCE LEAGUE
THREE goals in nine first half minutes sent Denbigh hurtling towards a disappointing defeat in Mid-Wales on Saturday.
Dan Graham edged Guilsfield ahead from the penalty spot on 20 minutes and quick strikes thereafter from Tom Reynolds and Craig Stephens put the hosts out of sight.
Although Denbigh replied through Gareth Martin 10 minutes from time the game had long been lost.
DENBIGH TOWN 3 LLANDYRNOG UNITED 0
LAST Wednesday’s Vale of Clwyd derby saw Denbigh claim their first win of the season.
Striker Kevin Leech netted twice for Tim Dyer’s side and Chris Williams also found the mark against his old club.
This Friday (7.30pm) Denbigh face a big test at fourth-placed Holyhead Hotspur. Town were beaten 4-2 in the corresponding fixture at the New Stadium last season.
