Seniors Stableford (Nov 24): 1 Joe Cumming 39 pts, 2 Gerald Parry 35, 3 Eilian Williams 33. Ladies Winter League Nine-Hole (Nov 25): 1 Carol Williams 14 pts (1:2), 2 Jean Batten Jones 14 (1:1), 3 Karen Jones 13.

At the recent ladies section AGM Mrs Jeanette Parry was appointed lady captain for 2008-09, with her vice-captain Mrs Sondra Williams.

Last week the new captain, from Llanfyllin, North Powys, and now a resident of St Asaph, held the annual drive-in which resulted in a donation of £46 to commence the charity collection of her term towards St Kentigern Hospice, St Asaph.
