Inline hockey: Prestatyn Piranhas romp home

PRESTATYN Piranhas inline hockey 12s team continued their winning ways in the Manchester League at the weekend.

They beat Preston 11-1 with goals from Most Valuable Player Jack Hapgood (six), Jack Bancroft (two), Robbie Lee (two) and Ryan Bateman.

Prestatyn went behind against Blackpool but ended up 10-2 winners, Robbie Lee and Jack Hapgood four apiece and Matt Gordon and Ryan Bateman providing the goals in a flattering victory reflected in netminder Patrick Farrell being voted MVP.
