Golf: Denbigh club enjoys centenary week

DENBIGH Golf Club’s Centenary Open Week 2008 proved to be a great success with the course in first class condition and fine weather ensuring a most enjoyable week of competition.

Thanks were expressed to main sponsors, Scottish & Newcastle U.K, plus event and hole sponsors for their valued support.

Some excellent scores were recorded all week with the highlight in the final event when Kevin Parry (4) & Jane Williams (15) of Denbigh Golf Club scored a fantastic 49 points in the mixed better-ball stableford.
