Rugby Union: Rhyl Youth win against Llangefni

RHYL YOUTH 17 LLANGEFNI YOUTH 3

UNDER-18 Great Britain centre Kriss Wilkes returned to play for Rhyl after two weeks representing the young Lions against France and Australian institute of sport.

He quickly made his mark, roaring in for two first half tries, one converted by full-back Adam Kirby, to make it 12-0 at the turnaround.

Stich Roberts scored a fine solo try early in the second half after which Cefni upped their game, but Rhyl defended well, only conceding a penalty.

Rhyl have now replaced Llangefni at the top of the table but have another hard away game this weekend against Wrexham, the only team to beat them this season.
