Cricket: Denbigh have fun at Marchwiel

ALEC Lewis grabbed an outstanding four-wicket haul as Denbigh romped to victory at Marchwiel.

The home side were skittled out for just 107, overseas player Mario Swart 24, Lewis four for 25, David Schrimshaw two for nine and Gerallt Lyall two for 17.

In reply fourth-placed Denbigh reached 108 for four off 33.4 overs, James Hobbs’ 38 taking him past 600 league runs (609) and Tom Schrimshaw (31 not out) and Daniel Nixon (10 no) seeing their side home, opener Lyall having earlier contributed 17.
