Priest's trek around 30 St Asaph churches in two days

REVEREND Jonathan Smith recently set out on his epic sponsored cycle ride to raise money for a good cause.
At 8am on Wednesday, March 25, Jonathan set out on his journey to visit all the St Mary’s churches in the St Asaph Diocese enduring awful, bitterly cold and wet conditions. Jonathan completed the ride by 5.05pm on Friday, March 27, having cycled 236 miles and visited all 30 St Mary’s churches.
It is now hoped that he will have raised in the region of £1,000 for the Smart appeal for the restoration of St Mary’s Church, Denbigh.
