Ruthin coffee morning for cancer funds

RUTHIN residents are being asked to drop in for a cuppa with a difference later this month as part of one housing association’s charity challenge.
Clwyd Alyn Housing Association are urging locals to visit their community centre at the Llys Erw Flats for part of what is planned to be the world’s biggest simultaneous coffee morning on September 26, between 10am and 12pm.
As well as plenty of coffee, cakes and biscuits will also be available for visitors, and items donated by local businesses will be featured in a charity raffle.
Funds raised by the record attempt will be passed on to Macmillan Cancer Support.
