Keen anglers get free coaching at Llanarmon

FISHERMEN flocked to a Llanarmon lake recently to pick up some free tips from top coaches at a day held to promote the pastime.
Youngsters fell hook, line and sinker for the National Fishing Week Event, held at Gweryd Lake near Llanarmon-yn-Ial, and visited from as far afield as the Wirral to learn more about how to improve their fishing.
"It was great to see 18 enthusiastic new youngsters trying the sport and to be able to be confident that they would catch as Gweryd Lakes is such a prolific water" said site owner Jean Mitchell.
