Church greats visit Ruthin for organ recital series

RUTHIN will ring with beautiful music tonight (Wednesday, July 2) as the 2008 Summer Organ Recital Series kicks off at St Peter’s Church.
The recitals will be held each Wednesday until July 23, with luminaries such as former Chester Cathedral organist Roger Fisher visiting the town for the performances.
There will also be a special anniversary performance held on September 5 by Olivier Latry, star organist of Paris’ Notre Dame cathedral.
Each show begins at 8pm. For tickets, which cost £10, contact the Ruthin Book Shop on 01824 703840.
