STUDENTS from a Ruthin school will be among the bookworms taking on teams of keen readers from across the region at a competition held in Denbigh tonight (June 25).
The pupils, from Ysgol Pen Barras, are one of three Denbighshire teams competing in the North-East Wales English Books Quiz, being held at the town hall after winning the county stage last Tuesday (June 17).
As well as reading alongside Rhyl’s Ysgol Llywelyn and Meliden’s Ysgol Melyd, the youngsters are hoping to see off teams from Wrexham, Conwy and Flintshire in a bid to win books for their school.
