Conservationists from Coleg Llysfasi have been working hard this month to give a stretch of countryside near Ruthin a revamp.
The Forestry and Conservation students worked on the track running alongside the Nant Y Garth Pass as part of an environmental project to help enhance the area.
"Everyone was very enthusiastic and committed to the project, they have done brilliantly. It was great at the end to see all the hard work was so worthwhile." said Tutor Eddie Thomas, who helped oversee the project.
Among the tasks set for the students was creating new footpaths, planting trees, and installing a picnic area in the Denbighshire scenic spot.
Forestry Lecturer Phil Venables also praised the students’ work, and said that the project had seen them make excellent use of the skills on their course.
