Ruthin company's Summer Solstice celebrations

A RUTHIN firm is hoping to celebrate this weekend’s Summer Solstice with a festival celebrating the natural beauty and Celtic history of the Vale of Clwyd.
The Chiron Centre, on Market Street, will be offering visitors a series of speakers and events, including the mythical wizard Merlin, and is one of four festivals being held this year to mark the movements of the sun.
Tickets cost £25 for a one-day ticket and £40 for the entire weekend, with children aged between 11 and 17 being admitted for half price. Call 01824 703070 for more information.
