The Co-op has agreed to support a music event in Ruthin to be held in the town later this month.
Graig Aid, which has been organising charity concerts in the town since 2001, secured the £500 grant from the firm, which they say will pay for lighting and sound systems at a special concert on June 21.
"The Co-operative has supported this event over the years. The festival promises to be a great night out for everyone while raising money for fantastic charities, so we hope to see as many people there as possible" said festival organiser Mike Kendrick.
Charities being supported this year include Hope House Children’s Hospices, St Kentigern Hospice and the Palliative Care Centre.
Tickets for the festival, being held at Ruthin Gaol, are priced at £10. For more information email info@graigaid.com.
