The RNLI raised over £1600 at a Ruthin fundraising event last month.
Ian Sims, the Ruthin branch’s Honourable Secretary, said he thanked the people of the town and the surrounding areas for their generosity at the organisation’s Flag Day on May 24.
"The collection would not have been achieved without the contribution and dedication of our volunteer collectors, and the generosity of the people of Ruthin and neighbouring villages" he said.
In total £1686 was raised at the event, which has been passed on to RNLI headquarters to aid their lifeboat missions.
