A MAN in his 80s was taken to hospital after a serious collision outside a Prestatyn supermarket.
Two police cars, one ambulance and one emergency response ambulance were called to Iceland on Nant Hall Road shortly after midday on Friday where a man in his late eighties had been involved in a collision with a Volvo.
Bystanders reported that the man sustained serious head injuries but was conscious at the scene.
A police spokesman said: “We had a report at 12.02pm that a man was in collision with a car outside the Iceland in Prestatyn.
“The ambulance was called and the man was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. We are treating this incident as a serious injury road traffic collision.”
