HIGH FLYERS from across North Wales are set to soar into the skies this weekend when one of Llangollen’s most loved festivals flies again.
The Llangollen Balloon Festival, which launches tomorrow [August 29] will see balloons of all shapes and sizes take to the skies above Denbighshire when the show takes off at the town’s Royal International Pavilion.
Among the attractions will be a nightglow event to light up the Llangollen skyline, a celebration to mark the centenary of the town’s football club, and over 20 hot air balloons to make flights above the Dee Valley.
