Denbigh Cub Scouts aim to expand

THE Scouts have exciting plans to expand their presence in Denbigh.

The Cub Scouts are the second age range of the Scouts, for 8 to 10½ year old boys and girls, following on from the Beaver Scouts section. Modern day Cub Scouts are very much into playing games, exploring the outdoors, camping, climbing and hiking. They have adventures whilst all the time making new friends and trying new things.

The 1st Denbigh Cub Scout Pack has a sound base and premises, with the equipment to give Denbigh boys and girls new and exciting opportunities. But to do this they need to improve upon its small leadership team by adding adult leaders with drive and enthusiasm and the ability to have a good time.

Scouts Wales will be undertaking some development work in Denbigh to support new adults, providing all the necessary training and resources to show how to manage the Pack through their awards and badges.
