MAGISTRATES at a special weekend court were told about a Denbigh man’s “Jack in the Box” week.
Last Tuesday 18-year-old Nathan Hughes of Bryn Seion, Denbigh, had been cleared of assault after being held in custody for a month.
Then on Boxing Day afternoon he was arrested and spent a night in police cells for an offence committed on November 11.
In court he pleaded guilty to allowing himself to be carried in a car which had been taken unlawfully, and was ordered to carry out 40 hours’ community service. His solicitor Chris Dawson said at Llandudno court that Hughes had smoked a cigarette in the car, and his DNA had been found.
