Cash stolen in robbery at Denbigh shop

THREE robbers struck at a Denbigh store on Sunday, taking a significant quantity of cash from shocked workers.

They raided the McColls shop on Rhyl Road around 10pm. A couple of shoppers were in the store along with two shop assistants. No-one was injured but staff were left shocked and shaken. The robbers made off on foot toward a nearby housing estate.

The first man is described as around 6ft tall in his late 20s, of average build. He was wearing a black crash helmet and a high visibility jacket. The second was in his 20s, wearing a black Balaclava. The third wore a dark hooded top.
