Burglary at Trefnant's Holy Trinity Church

TREFNANT'S Holy Trinity Church has been broken into by burglars.

Police have made an appeal for information after the village church was hit between 12pm on Thursday, June 26 and 4pm on Saturday, June 28.

One or more burglar entered the building and broke through lock to a wall safe. The safe contained the Holy Communion wine and bread which was moved by the offender(s). Nothing was stolen.

PC Sarah Gunning said: “I’m appealing to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour around the vicinity of the church or to anyone who may have information to contact officers immediately.”
