Denbigh prepares for big wrestling show

BRITISH Bulldogs of Denbigh are looking set to get Raw this Friday as a Welsh wrestling school take to the town for an evening of extreme entertainment.
Basix Wrestling, based in Deeside, will be staging the show at the Plas Pigot club, on Ruthin Road, and is promising over two hours of action from the world of wrestling which will appeal to the whole family.
"We have been looking at different and new areas to hold our shows, and Denbigh is somewhere we haven’t been before which we think would enjoy the entertainment of our wrestling," said organiser Mike Roberts, who himself wrestled for Sky and S4C under alias The Iron Man.
Doors open at 7pm this Friday, with the show starting at 7.45pm. Tickets cost £7 for adults, and £5 for adults and OAPs. More information is available on www.basixwrestling.co.uk
