A DENBIGH councillor has paid tribute to late school governor Margaret Morris, who passed away last week after a brave battle with lung cancer.
Town councillor Gwyneth Kensler said Margaret embraced the local community and was a tremendous asset to the school where she worked, and that her rediagnosis of cancer came as a huge shock.
"I personally missed her wisdom, advice, support and tenacity and all governors who knew her valued her greatly" said Gwyneth.
"Margaret is an inspiration to us all. She cared deeply and fought against injustice, and was not afraid of tackling those in authority".
