Thanks given to retiring Denbigh community worker

DENBIGH residents paid tributes in a lunchtime meeting last week to a community worker who has retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service.

Margaret Herring, from Bryn, near Corwen, completed her final shift last after 32 years of working as a nurse in the Denbigh and St Asaph areas.

"Her colleagues will miss her, especially sister Rosie Pritchard, who has been on the team for 22 years" said a spokesperson for the team.

"Many patients and their relatives would like to express their thanks for the care she has given over the years."
