CORWEN history buffs can visit one of the Vale’s oldest hillforts the next two weekend with a walk and talk which will revisit the wonders of the Iron Age.
People are being invited to hear from three eminent archaeologists at Welcome to the Iron Age on Saturday, June 21, as well as visit the 2500 year old fort at Caer Drewyn.
"This Iron Age day should really challenge everybody’s view about what hillforts were. Caer Drewyn is a great place to explore these issues" said Dr Toby Driver, of the Royal Commission.
The day starts at 10am at the Corwen Sports Pavilion near the War Memorial Park, with people warned to wear warm clothing and bring a packed lunch for the historic hike.
