We’re all going to the Zu tomorrow...

ONE of Rhyl’s most celebrated nightspots is due to reopen this week under a new name and with a new image.

Scruples, situated on Rhyl’s West Parade, closed down two years ago, leaving Rhyl residents with a shortage of choice in nightclub venues.

But the club, now refitted and rebranded as the ZuBar, is set to open tomorrow night (Thursday).

The club’s opening night will feature DJ BM Henderson and DJ Marcel Muller and the fully licensed bar will be open seven nights a week.

The venue was due to open last Thursday, but unforeseen technical problems meant the event had to be postponed.

A spokesman said: “We want you to have the best possible experience, and as such we have no choice but to delay. Once again, we apologise as I know you have all been waiting for two years.”
