TALENTED musicians from Corwen came up trumps recently when they passed a series of prestigious exams which pitted their playing skills to the limit.
After taking classes from Paul and Mavis Johns, based in Gwyddelwern, the students performed strongly in exams held by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Fiona Kent-Nye and Ceri Davies both passed Piano Grade One, while Lowri Jones-Williams and Eleanor Samson completed Grades Two and Three respectively. Meanwhile, Corwen’s Hanna Jones scored a merit in Grade Two Violin.
