FOUR Denbighshire deacons have been congratulated this week on a total of two-hundred years’ worth of service at one of the Vale of Clwyd’s chapels.
At a meeting held last Thursday at Capel Mawr, in Denbigh, the quartet of Presbyterian deacons were congratulated for each having given five decades of service to the Vale of Clwyd Presbytery. Alongside Denbigh men Meurig Voyle, Aneurin Williams and W T William, Betws-yn-Rhos resident Richard Owens was also thanked at the ceremony.
Two other men H Glyn Owens and J Goronwy Jones of Llansannan, were also at the event to mark their 40 years of church service.
