Denbigh bus service gets green light

Residents  on a housing estate in Denbigh have received news of provisional permission from the council for a new bus service to go ahead.

Last month the Vale Advertiser reported how residents of Bryn Stanley had won their battle for buses to stop, but that the actual location of the stop was still being reviewed.

Two new sites have now been chosen and will be located on Lon Llewelyn, opposite and adjacent to the Catholic Church, half way between the junction to Bryn Stanley and Smithfield Road.

"This is great news for all the residents who live up in the Bryn Stanley area and I'm sure they will be grateful to Denbighshire County Council for such a positive response to their request" said Vale of Clwyd MP Chris Ruane.

Both stops will have timetables installed by the county council in the next few days.
