HEAVY snowfall and treacherous road conditions resulted in two vehicle smashes on the Ruthin to Mold Road this morning.
The first accident saw a Land Rover leave the icy A494, near the site of the Clwyd Gate Hotel, at around 7am.
Two hours later another vehicle was involved in an accident near the same road, on Llanrwst Street in Ruthin.
North Wales Police confirmed that no other vehicles were involved and no one was injured in either incident.
