Big night of comedy at Llangollen Pavilion

THE "kill for a seat!" monthly comedy night returns to The Royal International Pavilion, Llangollen on Thursday, December 18 at 8pm.

Comedian and compere Silky is back making the audience feel warm and happy with his brilliant hosting skills. This time he’ll introduce us to "one of the sharpest comedic minds on the circuit" (The Guardian), in Lloyd Langford and the ever daring Dan Antopolski, an established stand up comedian who has worked with the likes of Catherine Tate and Lee Mack.

There will also be a treat for the audience with a guest appearance from compere Richard Wilson deemed a "very, very funny man" by Frank Skinner.

Born in Wales but currently living in London, Lloyd Langford’s act is an ever- evolving mixture of personal anecdotes, memorable one-liners and topical material. A prolific writer and performer, his experience includes writing for Never Mind the Buzzcocks and BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show. Lloyd is proving himself to be a highly sought after act with his striking combination of natural wit undercut with a playful curiosity.

Dan Antopolski’s surreal humour has won him many awards including a BBC New Comedy award and has seen him in demand for comedy clubs and international festivals as far as New York. His TV work includes an appearance as Jesus in The Da Vinci Code and in The World Comedy Series, being screened on Comedy Central in the USA and The Paramount Comedy Channel in the UK.

Tickets are £10, to book call the Box Office on 01978 860111.
